Health services reinforced in Agaete for La Rama festival

An additional doctor, nurse, and security personnel will join the usual staff to cover the high influx of visitors during the celebrations.

The Government of the Canary Islands has reinforced the health services at the Agaete Health Center with additional personnel to ensure normalcy during the La Rama festival.

The Department of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Primary Care Management of Gran Canaria, has increased the number of professionals at the Agaete health center. This measure aims to ensure adequate coverage given the expected large influx of visitors during the La Rama festival celebrations.
Services at the Agaete Primary Care center will be intensified to provide greater coverage during these festive days. The Primary Care Management of Gran Canaria has reported that, until 08:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5th, the usual staff will be supplemented by an additional doctor and nurse.
In addition to healthcare personnel, security and surveillance staff will be present to ensure the center operates smoothly during the event.
