The Gáldar Library will host the free children's workshop ‘A Room to Dream’ on September 9, an arts and crafts and artistic outreach session inspired by the work of painter Antonio Padrón.

The session, aimed at children aged 7 to 12, will take place between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The workshop proposes a sensory and emotional journey through color and shapes, taking as a starting point Padrón's work, his intense palette, his symbolic world, and his roots in Canarian popular culture.
The project has a maximum of 15 places, and registration opened on August 3. Interested individuals can register via email at biblioteca@galdar.es or by calling 928 89 54 00 or 646 04 00 05.
This guided, playful artistic activity is supported by the Antonio Padrón House-Museum and the Gran Canaria Insular Library. It is promoted by the Department of Historical Heritage, Archive, and Library of Gáldar, under the direction of Carlos Ruiz.
The workshop invites participants to discover the unique work of Antonio Padrón through images and active listening, exploring color, form, and emotional and sensory language, culminating in the individual creation of their own artistic piece.
