The action, aimed at improving the safety and capacity of a key road in the northwest of La Palma, incorporates technical adaptations arising from the execution of the works. These include improvements to the road surface, modifications to several viaducts, adjustments to retaining walls, and an update of work unit measurements.
The modification allows for the continuation of two emblematic structures in the ravines of El Jorado and Los Gomeros. Metal structure decks have been chosen, as this typology best suits the difficult access conditions due to the island's orography. The assembly of these structures, each with a span of approximately 100 meters, is scheduled for December 2026 and January 2027.
