Baleària Canarias has launched Easy Pass, a digital system facilitating passenger and vehicle boarding on the route between Playa Blanca and Corralejo, allowing rapid access via a QR code.

Baleària Canarias has implemented Easy Pass, a new digital system designed to streamline the boarding process for passengers and vehicles on the maritime route connecting Playa Blanca (Lanzarote) with Corralejo (Fuerteventura). This initiative aims to enhance the travel experience, particularly for residents who frequently use this connection.
The main advantage of Easy Pass is that it eliminates the need for prior reservation or visiting the ticket office. Users simply need to present a QR code generated from the Baleària mobile app at the time of boarding. To use this service, users must register with Baleària Club, upload their required residency documentation, and set up a payment method.
The system also allows for sharing the QR code with family or friends, thereby simplifying travel management for companies and individuals. Jorge Raheb, commercial manager for Baleària in the Canary Islands, emphasized that the company continues to invest in solutions that simplify the daily lives of those who live and travel between the islands, viewing Easy Pass as a loyalty tool offering additional benefits to Baleària Club members.
With the introduction of Easy Pass on this route, Baleària is advancing in the digitalization of the travel experience and improving mobility. The shipping company plans to progressively extend this system to other routes, such as the one connecting Los Cristianos with San Sebastián de La Gomera and Santa Cruz de La Palma, as well as the link between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
