The FV-20 highway in Fuerteventura will experience night traffic diversions from July 27th to 30th to allow for new highway asphalting works.

The Department of Public Works, Housing, and Mobility of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, has informed about the diversions to be implemented on the FV-20 road. These will take place during night hours, specifically between 10:00 PM on Monday, July 27th, and 5:30 AM on Thursday, July 30th.
The diversions will affect the section of the FV-20 from the roundabout at the Antigua link towards Puerto del Rosario up to the Risco Prieto roundabout. This action is part of the works for the Puerto del Rosario-La Caldereta road, a variant of the FV-1, FV-3, and FV-2.
The purpose of these works is to continue with the asphalting of the road connecting the new highway to Puerto del Rosario via the Antigua link. This intervention is considered necessary for the development of the road infrastructure.
Traffic will be diverted via the FV-10 road in both directions. The diversion will be properly signposted and supervised by construction personnel to facilitate vehicle transit. Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution, respect the temporary signage, and follow the instructions of the authorized personnel at all times.
