This technological infrastructure, which will operate on the 700 and 800 MHz frequency bands previously used by DTT, could cause occasional disruptions in television reception for residents. The areas of Los Molinos, Almácigo, La Ampuyenta, Los Llanos de la Concepción, and Las Parcelas are excluded from these potential effects.
Should any television signal issues arise, the City Council advises citizens to contact the toll-free number 900-833 999 or visit the Llega700 website. A technical service will verify the situation, and if necessary, a specialist will visit the home to install a filter to correctly restore the signal. For homeowner associations, communication must be managed by the president or administrator.
“"These types of deployments allow for improved coverage, especially inside buildings, and expand mobile connection capacity in different areas of the municipal capital."
The Councillor for New Technologies emphasized that these improvements are crucial for optimizing coverage, particularly within buildings, and for expanding mobile connection capacity in various areas of the capital. This initiative follows a similar announcement made in late April in the municipality of Pájara, also in Fuerteventura, where mobile operators implemented 4G and 5G services on the same frequency bands, providing high-speed connections and better coverage in the south of the island.
