The meeting, scheduled for 4:30 PM in the Plenary Hall, is part of the body's regulations, which stipulate quarterly encounters. The objective is to analyze the progress of initiatives, investments made, and actions related to the municipality's public health strategy, to which it adhered years ago to the National Strategy for Healthy Islands and Municipalities.
During the session, the status of ongoing projects will be examined, and future budget planning will be defined. Significant financial allocations by the local administration for the comprehensive development of the municipality's groups will be highlighted, with a specific budget of 30,000 euros designated to support the activities of local health associations and groups.
The continuity of key projects for social cohesion will also be debated, such as the Senior Citizen Dynamization Program, focused on promoting active and healthy aging through physical and leisure activities distributed across the neighborhoods.
The promotion of healthy habits among youth and support for grassroots sports will have a prominent place. The City Council will report on the recent contribution of 10,000 euros to the Vallehermoso Football Club for its ordinary operations, and the pending allocation of 5,000 euros to the Cantón Sports Club, an entity that promotes sports practice among the town's youngest.
Finally, the status of investments in community dynamization infrastructure will be reviewed, including recent works at the municipal football field, the network of public gyms, and the neighborhood social centers, essential spaces for ensuring healthy, sporting, and inclusive leisure for all residents of Vallehermoso.
