The locality of Charco del Palo has bid farewell to its patron saint fiestas, celebrated on October 2nd and 3rd, featuring a diverse program that included music, gastronomy, workshops, contests, and children's entertainment. These activities fostered various meeting and coexistence spaces for residents and visitors.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, emphasized that the fiestas provided an opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with a program designed for different ages and tastes. He expressed gratitude for the participation of residents, visitors, and collaborators who contributed to an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness.
For his part, the Councilor for Fiestas, Alberto de León, stated that the objective of offering a varied program was achieved, creating a dynamic weekend open to all audiences. He also thanked the involvement of individuals, groups, and professionals in organizing the various activities.
The celebration kicked off on Friday, October 2nd, with the official inauguration and a musical performance by the group Lidia con Ello. Saturday hosted the majority of the activities, including a highly participatory Tapas and Desserts Contest, followed by performances from Dushan and Teguibanda during the awards ceremony.
A dedicated children's area offered face painting and play activities, ensuring that families could enjoy the celebration together.
The Haría City Council reiterates its thanks to everyone who contributed to the development of the fiestas and reaffirms its commitment to organizing activities that boost the municipality's areas and foster community cohesion.
