The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, positively assessed the monthly reduction, stating that "the data show that the municipality continues to grow in terms of employment." Villalba added that efforts are being made "to continue lowering these figures, especially in sectors where unemployment is most concentrated, to boost economic activity and foster new job opportunities for our residents."
The improvement recorded in October has been particularly reflected among men, with a 3.3% decrease compared to the previous month, and among people over 45 years old, with a 4.5% reduction. However, this latter group still concentrates the most unemployment, with 168 people, compared to 85 job seekers between 25 and 44 years old, and 11 under 25 years old.
Unemployment trends have also been positive across various educational levels. The largest monthly decrease is among individuals with university studies, with a 9.7% drop and 28 job seekers. They are followed by those with Secondary Education, with 91 people and a 5.2% reduction.
