The municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás will be present this Sunday, September 27, at the Tourism Fair held in Santa María de Guía. The council will have its own space to showcase the town's tourist, gastronomic, and cultural richness.
The fair, funded by Turismo de Gran Canaria, is part of the World Tourism Day celebrations in the north of the island. This year's theme chosen by the World Tourism Organization is “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence for Redesigning Tourism”.
Participation in this event will allow attendees to discover the municipality's main resources and attractions, as well as showcase the identity of La Aldea through a selection of local products and proposals linked to its gastronomy and heritage.
The stand, located in the Plaza Grande of the historic center of Guía, alongside stalls from other municipalities of the Mancomunidad de Ayuntamientos del Norte de Gran Canaria, will offer a display and tasting of local products. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand some of the products that are part of the municipality's gastronomy and identity.
Staff from the La Aldea Visitor Center will travel to Santa María de Guía to provide information on the municipality's tourist resources and assist those interested in learning about its attractions and various visiting proposals.
The presence at the Santa María de Guía Tourism Fair represents a new opportunity to promote La Aldea de San Nicolás as a destination. The initiative aims to enhance the dissemination of local products and elements that define the municipality's identity and uniqueness on a day dedicated to the tourism sector.
From the Tourism Department, led by Leandra Delgado, efforts continue to promote La Aldea de San Nicolás as a tourist destination, driving actions to showcase its resources and create new opportunities for projecting the municipality.
