The Pájara City Council has positively assessed this evolution in security indicators, linking it to the joint work of the council, through the Local Police, in coordination with the Civil Guard, the Canarian Police, and other security forces.
The municipal institution emphasizes that citizen security is a priority commitment of the current governing group, which has implemented measures to strengthen prevention, surveillance, and response capabilities for incidents.
Among the highlighted actions is the incorporation of 13 new officers to the Local Police, the largest increase in personnel in years, aiming to enhance police presence in the various areas of the municipality and improve citizen services.
Furthermore, the council has advanced in modernizing its security resources with the acquisition of 54 cameras for a video surveillance and traffic control system. These devices, which will include road safety cameras and license plate readers, will be installed at strategic points to boost prevention and public safety management.
The Pájara City Council expresses gratitude for the daily efforts of all security forces present in the municipality, as well as inter-administrative collaboration to consolidate this positive trend in crime data.
