Las Hayas Celebrates Festivities in Honor of the Virgen de Coromoto

The municipality combines religious events with music and popular dances on September 4th and 5th.

Las Hayas is preparing to celebrate its traditional festivities in honor of the Virgen de Coromoto on September 4th and 5th, combining religious devotion with musical performances and popular dances.

The celebrations will commence on Friday, September 4th, at 10:00 PM, with a grand dance featuring the Orquesta Gomera and Grupo Sabor.
The events on Saturday, September 5th, will begin at 5:30 PM with a holy mass in honor of the Virgen de Coromoto. Following the ceremony, the traditional procession will take place through the usual routes, accompanied by chácaras and drums.
Subsequently, attendees can enjoy a performance by soloist Ricardo Jiménez. The evening will conclude from 10:00 PM onwards with another grand dance, this time by Grupo Sabor and Orquesta Gomera.
The Las Hayas 2026 Festival Commission, along with the Valle Gran Rey City Council, organizers of the events, invite all residents of La Gomera and visitors to participate in these days marked by devotion, tradition, and community. The festivities are supported by the Island Council of La Gomera.
