The Valle Gran Rey City Council has launched a public consultation process to modify the ordinance regulating study grants for students registered in the municipality.

The initiative, which will be open for public participation for a period of ten business days, aims to optimize the management of these grants. The local government seeks to reduce current administrative hurdles and streamline the procedures required for students to access aid more easily.
Among the objectives set by the local administration is the creation of response mechanisms for situations of vulnerability or risk of social exclusion. To this end, the council plans to rely on the technical assessment of municipal Social Services, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most.
Furthermore, the reform includes an increase in the economic allocation brackets and a review of the educational levels eligible for subsidies. With these changes, the City Council intends to adapt the regulations to the real demands of families, ensuring that access to education is carried out under conditions of equality for all residents.
