These grants, with a total amount of 35,000 euros, are intended for associations such as parent-teacher associations (AMPAS), youth groups, and neighborhood associations. The complete bases are published on the municipal electronic headquarters.
Applications must be submitted electronically through the procedures catalog on the City Council's electronic headquarters, starting from October 13.
The requirements to apply for these grants include having the registered office in San Sebastián de La Gomera or, exceptionally, in the neighboring municipality of Alajeró if residents from the capital municipality participate. Furthermore, associations must be registered in the Associations Registry of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands and be up-to-date with their tax and Social Security obligations.
These grants are compatible with other aid, provided that the total sum does not exceed 100% of the activity's cost. Entities carrying out sports or social activities are excluded, as they have specific grant lines, as are those not meeting their tax obligations.
