The Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council has launched the tender process to build a new multipurpose center in the town center, with a budget of 2,138,074.50 euros.

The project, which has a twelve-month execution period, will be financed through the Gran Canaria Insular Socioeconomic Development Program (Fdcan), covering the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years. The building will be located on a plot between camino plaza de Santa Lucía and calle Senador Castillo Olivares.
The building's design, covering a constructed area of 830.83 square meters, is characterized by its multifunctional nature. The internal layout will allow for the adaptation of spaces to various needs, incorporating a micropiling foundation system to ensure the stability of the ground and surrounding structures.
The ground floor of the facility will include parking for eight vehicles, a lobby, restrooms, storage rooms, and technical areas. The upper floor will house offices with fourteen workstations, a meeting room, a multipurpose room for cultural activities, and an exhibition space dedicated to local ethnographic and historical heritage.
