The Plaza de la Candelaria will be the venue for this event, which will be held concurrently with the Feria del Sol, an initiative by the Mancomunidad focused on sustainability and responsible consumption. Visitors will be able to find a wide variety of agri-food and processed products from Gran Canaria, with over 65% of participants coming from Ingenio, Agüimes, and Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
Among the products offered are cheeses, honey, wines, oils, bread, fruits and vegetables, jams, pastries, coffee, free-range eggs, mushrooms, microgreens, aloe vera, sugar cane syrup, and juices. The fair aims to bring the island's products closer to citizens and highlight the work of farmers, ranchers, and small agri-food businesses.
In its six years of trajectory, the Km.0 Gran Canaria Fair has brought together over 385 producers and welcomed more than 450,000 visitors, contributing to the promotion of local products and the primary sector of the island.
The Km.0 Fair will coincide with the Feria del Sol, which promotes sustainable habits and behaviors and responsible consumption.
