The sixth edition of the Maspalomas Training Camp will be held from July 6th to 12th, gathering between 40 and 50 children from the benjamin and cadet categories from the islands.

The anticipated sporting event for young footballers, the Maspalomas Training Camp, celebrates its sixth edition from July 6th to 12th. This high-performance event is designed to host a group of 40 to 50 children, covering the benjamin and cadet categories, from the different islands.
Organized by Alillo Alonso and Gabriel More, both linked to the UD Villa Santa Brígida club (More also to Acodetti), the camp offers a week-long concentrated experience. Participants will stay at the Hotel Beverly Park, where they will experience an environment similar to that of professionals, according to the organizers.
Training sessions will take place at the facilities of the Eleuterio Valerón stadium, home of CD Tablero. The main objective of this edition, according to Alillo Alonso, is the continuous growth of the event and ensuring that the youngsters take away a positive and grateful memory.
The specialization program will focus on ball-handling drills, prioritizing the children's direct contact with the ball. Participants will train twice a day, working as a cohesive team and playing friendly matches against other island camps. Additionally, recreational activities have been scheduled to complement the sports training.
The organization of this event is supported by various entities, including the Department of Sports of the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, CD Tablero, and the companies Domingo Alonso, Autoclima, Gael Automoción, and Litografía González.
