The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts cloudy intervals for Thursday in the north of the islands, particularly in Gran Canaria, while the rest of the archipelago will enjoy mostly clear skies.

In the north of Gran Canaria, below 800-1,000 meters, cloudy skies are expected with a low probability of occasional drizzle in mid-altitude areas late in the day. Other areas will experience sunnier weather.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will have cloudy skies in their northern and western parts, with intervals of sun in the early and late hours, and mostly clear skies elsewhere.
Minimum temperatures will see little change, while maximum temperatures will register a slight increase. On the southern coast of the metropolitan area of Tenerife, thermometers could locally reach 30 degrees, ranging between a high of 27 degrees on the island and a low of 16 degrees in El Hierro. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, highs will be around 23 degrees and lows 19.
Winds will blow moderately from the northeast, with strong intervals in exposed areas of the summits, the southeast slope, and the far west, where very strong gusts of up to 70 km/h are expected, potentially exceeding 80 km/h locally. Very strong gusts are not ruled out on the southern slope of the metropolitan area.
