The duty magistrate has ordered provisional, communicated, and no-bail prison for the person arrested in connection with the death of a man in the La Verónicas leisure area, in Arona, following a brawl.

The judicial decision follows the detainee's court appearance this Saturday. The magistrate is investigating a suspected homicide offense, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC).
The incident occurred in the early hours of last Thursday in the southern island's nightlife district. A 37-year-old British citizen died after being involved in a brawl with another man, aged 23 and also British. The venue's security detained the alleged aggressor until the National Police arrived.
Emergency services dispatched to the scene were unable to save the victim's life.
