The town of Bajamar, in Tenerife, will host the third edition of the Cañas & Camarones festival this Saturday, July 11, combining seafood gastronomy and cultural activities.

The event, which will take place around the Bajamar natural pools between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM, aims to boost the local economy and highlight local seafood products. During the festival, one ton of shrimp will be distributed, enough to prepare nearly 10,000 tapas for attendees.
The program includes six live musical performances and a market featuring thirteen local brands. Organizers moved the date to July to coincide with the peak shrimp harvesting season, ensuring the quality of the main product.
Institutional representatives have emphasized that this gathering not only promotes local consumption but also strengthens the identity of the coastline and provides opportunities for the area's restaurant and retail sectors.
