The event, taking place in the museum's auditorium from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, will explore the aggregations of mobulas in the Azores and exclusively present the findings of the first comprehensive study on the presence of the Mobulidae family (devil rays and mantas) in the Canary Islands.
The presentation will be led by Alicia Rodríguez Juncá, co-founder of Manta Catalog Canarias and researcher at the University of La Laguna. The documentary is a production of Manta Trust and Manta Catalog.
The initiative is organized by the Association of Friends of MUNA and Manta Catalog, with the collaboration of the Autonomous Body of Museums and Centers (OAMC). Admission is free until full capacity is reached.
