Evacuation of Hondius Cruise Passengers Continues in Tenerife

A total of 81 individuals remain on board the vessel, awaiting transfer from Tenerife South Airport to their home countries.

The evacuation of passengers from the Hondius cruise ship in Tenerife is still underway, with 81 people remaining on board, awaiting transfer from Tenerife South Airport to their respective countries of origin.

According to sources from the Ministry of Health, transfers are scheduled to continue until 6:00 PM. The vessel, which carried 60 crew members and 147 passengers, has been directed to the Granadilla pier.
At the port's esplanade, several buses from the Military Emergency Unit (UME) are waiting to transport passengers to the airport. Throughout this Sunday, an additional three flights are expected to depart, as reported by Ports of Tenerife.
Of the 60 crew members, approximately 30 will disembark, while the remainder will continue their journey to the Netherlands. Over the course of Sunday, passengers from various nationalities, including Spain, France, Canada, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Ireland, and the United States, have either departed or are scheduled to depart from Tenerife.
