The National Police have arrested a suspect in southern Tenerife for a series of robberies targeting commercial establishments and hotels in the municipalities of Arona and Adeje.

The investigation, launched following multiple reports, allowed officers to identify a clear pattern in the crimes. The suspect acted systematically, using methods such as breaking doors and windows in shops and apartments, or climbing walls to access hotel rooms.
The perpetrator's primary targets were cash, jewelry, and bank cards. The latter were used fraudulently to make payments and withdrawals before the victims could block their accounts.
Following an extensive investigation by the judicial police, it was confirmed that the suspect is a repeat offender with a criminal record exceeding 70 prior arrests. Authorities have charged him with over 30 property crimes committed within a short timeframe.
The duty court has ordered the suspect to be held in preventive detention. Meanwhile, the Police Headquarters has emphasized the importance of public cooperation, encouraging residents to report any suspicious activity through official online channels.
