The incident occurred around 7:20 PM, when the Canary Islands Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert from residents reporting that a man floating face down had been pulled from the water.
Emergency medical personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) who arrived at the scene found the individual in cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, resuscitation was unsuccessful, and his death was confirmed.
The Guardia Civil has initiated the corresponding proceedings to clarify the circumstances of the event. Personnel from the Consorcio de Bomberos de Tenerife also collaborated with the emergency resources.
