The cultural program aims to bring various forms of musical interpretation to the Canary Islands public, focusing on the tradition of the décima. The guest artists will participate in meetings in La Palma, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Lanzarote, where they will share the stage with local verse performers.
The performance schedule begins on August 21 in Tijarafe, La Palma, and continues on the 22nd in Arafo, Tenerife. On August 23, the activity will move to Lanzarote and Valleseco, in Gran Canaria.
The tour will continue on August 28 in La Victoria, Tenerife, followed by Agaete on the 29th and Artenara on the 30th, both in Gran Canaria. The tour concludes on August 31 in Santa Bárbara, in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife.
This initiative is part of a broader cultural exchange project promoted by the Ochosílabas Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to disseminating the historical and cultural links between the Islands and America.
