The San Juan de Dios organization has launched its fundraising campaign in Gran Canaria to support its summer campus, an inclusive space designed for children with special needs.

San Juan de Dios has initiated its traditional fundraising campaign in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The primary goal of this annual initiative is to raise funds to cover the material needs of the center's various services.
This year, the solidarity contributions will be directed specifically to the summer campus for children with special needs. This initiative, presented as the only camp of its kind in Gran Canaria, arises from listening to the needs of families, aiming to provide a safe and stimulating environment with recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
The Ciudad San Juan de Dios seeks to raise awareness about the difficulties many Gran Canarian families face in balancing work and family life during the summer period, given the scarcity of inclusive camps on the island. The campus will offer a total of 80 places, with 40 available in July and 40 in August.
The organization has expressed its gratitude to all collaborators and volunteers actively participating in this day, going through the streets of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to request society's support for this important cause.
Furthermore, San Juan de Dios reminds the public that donations can also be made via Bizum, by sending funds to the number 01331.
