The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this Saturday in Tenerife mostly clear or clear skies, with cloudy intervals on the northern coastal strips. The haze will remain at high altitudes, which could leave the atmosphere somewhat hazy without significantly affecting the surface.
Temperatures will experience few changes, although a slight drop in minimums is expected inland. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, thermometers will range between 23 degrees minimum and 29 maximum. However, Aemet does not rule out locally reaching 30 degrees on the southern coasts, both in the metropolitan area and in the south of the island, making it a warm day in areas exposed to the sun.
Wind will be a factor to consider, with the trade winds blowing strongly in the southeastern coasts and the extreme northwest of the island. In the west, breezes will predominate, a typical situation when the trade winds are channeled through the sides of the higher islands.
The general forecast for the Canary Archipelago points to light high-altitude haze and mostly clear or clear skies. Temperatures could exceed 30 degrees in large areas of the south and west of Gran Canaria and in the southern half of Fuerteventura. In La Gomera, the possibility of reaching 30 degrees on southern and western slopes is also expected.
Regarding the forecast by island, Lanzarote expects clear skies with intervals in the west and light haze. La Palma anticipates cloudy intervals in low-lying northern and eastern areas, with the possibility of some drizzle. El Hierro will have a clear day with intervals in the north and high-altitude haze.
