The incident took place around 04:30 AM on Calle Flor de Pascua in the municipality of La Orotava, Tenerife. A vehicle veered off the road, trapping its occupants inside.
According to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112, two of the affected individuals were locked inside the vehicle with blocked doors, necessitating their rescue by Tenerife Firefighters.
The Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) provided assistance to the injured. A 30-year-old man suffered serious polytrauma and was transported by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
Additionally, another 40-year-old male sustained moderate trauma, and a woman of the same age presented with moderate trauma to an upper limb. Both were taken to Hospiten Bellevue.
Officers from the Local Police of La Orotava were responsible for preparing the corresponding report to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
