TLP Tenerife commemorates its twentieth anniversary from July 15 to 19 at the Recinto Ferial de Santa Cruz, reviving the spirit of its first edition with a program focused on video games, Japanese culture, K-Pop, and the digital industry.

The 2026 edition of TLP Tenerife aims to evoke the spirit of its origin two decades ago in El Rosario, when it gathered around 150 enthusiasts. The event, which has grown into a benchmark in Spain, has attracted over 740,000 people throughout its history.
The heart of the celebration will be the LAN Party zone, operating 24 hours daily for six days with 1,200 stations. Tickets for this area, which preserves the original concept of network connection, competitions, and community, were sold out in December.
Summer-Con, open to the general public, will feature activities related to Japanese culture, anime, manga, K-Pop, and meet-and-greets with content creators. Notable participants include Luzu, with over ten million followers, alongside aXoZer, Noni, Mayichi, and Carmen Sandwich, among others.
As a new addition, Tenerife will host the regional phase of the K-POP World Festival, selecting representatives for the international final in South Korea. The Masters of TLP: Urban Edition contest will also debut, merging urban dance with Korean music choreography.
The program will include the national final of ULTRAGAMER, a format promoted by Intel, El Corte Inglés, GGTech, and Arigato Talents, reinforcing TLP Tenerife's long-standing role as a venue for esports competitions.
The educational and professional segment will take place at TLP Innova, featuring conferences and masterclasses on video games, film, comics, animation, and digital art, aiming to connect professionals, students, and companies.
The insular counselor for Innovation, Juan José Martínez, highlighted TLP's significance for the development of technology and video games in the Canary Islands. The president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, described the event as a "milestone" positioning the island as a leader in digital entertainment and young talent, noting the previous edition's economic impact of 1.8 million euros and over 70,000 visitors.
The mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, José Manuel Bermúdez, stated that the city has grown alongside TLP, enhancing the capital's profile as a destination for digital culture and new forms of leisure. The organization has also introduced a focus on healthy habits, offering nutritious smoothies as an alternative to energy drinks.
