The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert around 4:52 PM reporting the situation. Following the call, the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), Tenerife Firefighters Consortium, Local Police, and National Police were dispatched.
SUC medical personnel, including a medicalized ambulance, a sanitaryized ambulance, a basic life support ambulance, and a medicalized helicopter, attended the scene. Upon arrival, they assessed the patient, who was in cardiac arrest, and initiated basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, successfully reversing the arrest.
After being stabilized, the man was transferred in serious condition by the SUC's medical helicopter to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Meanwhile, officers from the Local and National Police collaborated with firefighters to ensure the safe landing of the aircraft and were responsible for preparing the corresponding official report.
