The Calle La Arena and its surroundings in Candelaria have become the setting for the open-air exhibition 'The yesterday that sounds today', inaugurated yesterday, Wednesday. This exhibition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Las Candelas Music Band, featuring panels detailing its trajectory, key moments, and evolution over five decades.
The inaugural event was attended by the mayor, Mari Brito; councilor Manuel González; the Band's director, Mauro Fariña; the group's founder and Hijo Predilecto de Candelaria, Don Abilio Alonso Otazo; along with numerous residents, musicians, and family members.
