The technical meeting held this Friday at the town hall established action guidelines for the expected high visitor turnout. The municipal Self-Protection Plan will be active from 3:00 PM on August 14 until 3:00 PM the following day, covering the peak periods of pilgrim movement.
The deployment will include collaboration from the Cabildo de Tenerife, providing personnel and a medical response unit managed alongside Cruz Roja. This operation will be present in both forest areas and the field hospital to be set up in the town center of Candelaria.
Regarding mobility, several road closures and diversions have been planned. The TF-28 road will be closed between El Chorrillo and Las Caletillas from the afternoon of August 14 until the morning of August 15. Additionally, parking areas have been designated at locations such as the cemetery, La Cardonera, and near the Bruno Alberto Saina Football Field.
