The Candelaria City Council has secured a 15,000 euro grant from the Department of Commerce and Business Support of the Cabildo de Tenerife to promote dynamism in the municipality's Open Commercial Zones.

The Commercial Dynamization Project for the Open Commercial Zones of Candelaria, promoted by the City Council, has received a subsidy of 15,000 euros. This aid was granted by the Department of Commerce and Business Support of the Cabildo de Tenerife.
Mayor Mari Brito stated, "from Candelaria we remain firmly committed to local commerce." She highlighted that this subsidy will allow for the reinforcement of dynamization and promotion campaigns, as well as continued support for the municipality's commercial sector.
The granted amount, which corresponds to the maximum for municipalities over 25,000 inhabitants, will serve to strengthen the local business fabric through promotion and dynamization actions in the Villa's main commercial areas.
The project aims to make visible and value the offering of local proximity commerce, foster economic activity, attract visitors to commercial zones, and enhance interaction between establishments and their urban environment.
The Councilor for Commerce, María del Carmen Clemente, emphasized that among the planned activities is “Candelaria Enamora,” an initiative that has proven its ability to attract visitors, generate commercial activity, and reinforce the identity of the municipality's Open Commercial Zones.
With this new funding, the Candelaria City Council will continue to promote actions aimed at favoring commercial activity, improving the visibility of establishments, and consolidating the Open Commercial Zones as spaces for meeting, economic activity, and municipal dynamism.
