The Puerto de la Cruz City Council has confirmed the return of the traditional San Juan concert at Playa Jardín on June 23rd, aiming to revitalize the festive atmosphere and local identity.

The emblematic San Juan Night returns to Puerto de la Cruz this June 23rd, featuring its anticipated live concert right on the beach. Playa Jardín is reaffirmed as the central point of the celebration, hosting an event designed to bring back a festive atmosphere and music to the coast.
This initiative aims to offer an experience by the sea for both residents of the tourist municipality and the numerous visitors expected for the bonfire night. The goal is to revive a tradition deeply rooted in local identity and strengthen the city's festive spirit.
The mayor of the city, Leopoldo Afonso, has emphasized the importance of reintegrating this event into the local agenda. "Recovering this event means restoring the essence of a celebration profoundly linked to our identity as Portuenses, creating a very special meeting point for all citizens," he stated.
The Playa Jardín stage will host various musical acts designed for all audiences, with a distinct Canary Islands flavor. The City Council has announced the three main performances that will provide the soundtrack for the evening.
Confirmed performances include Grupo Caracolas, known for their unique sound fusion; Grupo Jeita, recognized for their dynamic and innovative approach in the islands' music scene; and La Chalana, which will deliver a powerful tribute to the hits of the legendary Mexican band Maná.
