Fasnia restricts traffic and parking for Carmen Festivities

The Fasnia City Council has announced traffic and parking restrictions on several streets in the Las Eras neighborhood for the Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Carmen.

Due to the celebration of the Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Carmen in the Las Eras neighborhood, and to facilitate the development of the planned events, various traffic management measures have been established. These provisions, signed by the Mayor-President, Luis Javier González Delgado, aim to ensure the safety and smooth running of the events.
From Friday, September 18, to Monday, October 5, 2026, vehicle traffic will be closed and parking prohibited on La Ermita Street, La Unión Street, and El Callao, in the area bordering Plaza Hilario Trujillo. Traffic will be diverted through Piña de Mar Street and Charco Los Linos.
Additionally, during the various scheduled events, Piña de Par Street will be closed to traffic from its intersection with La Unión Street to El Caletón Street. El Caletón Street will also be affected, from its intersection with Piña de Mar Street with El Guincho Street, as well as Los Pescadores Street.
The parking prohibition will apply to La Ermita Street, Caletón Street, Pescadores Street, La Unión Street up to the intersection with Piña de Mar Street, El Callao Street (in the part bordering Plaza Hilario Trujillo), and Charco Los Linos Street from the intersection with El Callao Street.
The traffic closures and parking prohibitions will take place at specific times during the festivities: Thursday, September 24 (4:00 PM to 3:00 AM the following day), Friday, September 25 (6:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following day), Saturday, September 26 (6:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following day), Sunday, September 27 (12:00 PM to 1:00 AM the following day), Friday, October 2 (8:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following day), and Saturday, October 3 (12:00 PM to 1:00 AM the following day).
