The blood donation team will be present today in the La Pólvora area, offering the possibility to donate in the morning, from 10:15 to 13:45, and in the afternoon, from 17:00 to 20:30. The objective of these campaigns is to maintain the necessary blood reserves for the healthcare activities of Canary Islands hospitals.
In addition to this mobile initiative, there are fixed donation points in Tenerife. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the fixed point at Méndez Núñez operates Monday to Friday from 9:15 to 20:15. At the San Isidro Health Center, in Granadilla de Abona, donations can be made Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 14:15 to 19:30, with reserved parking for donors.
Hospitals also have walk-in donation points. The University Hospital of the Canary Islands is open Sunday to Friday and on holidays from 8:30 to 21:30, and Saturdays from 8:30 to 14:30 and 15:30 to 20:00. The University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria accepts donations Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00.
Other donation points include Hospiten Bellevue in Puerto de la Cruz (by appointment, Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 14:30) and the San Juan de Dios Hospital on the road to Santa Cruz La Laguna (Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 12:30).
