Investigators also discovered a second property in La Matanza de Acentejo, where another plantation was suspected to be operating.
With judicial authorization, both properties were searched. The first home contained a plantation in various stages of growth, with several rooms adapted to increase plant production using artificial lighting, humidifiers, and air filters. The second home housed another significant quantity of cannabis plants.
The final tally from both searches includes 448 marijuana plants and approximately 12 kilograms of buds. Additionally, 46 grams of hashish resin and an undisclosed amount of cash were seized, along with two vehicles linked to the investigated individuals.
The operation successfully dismantled both indoor cultivation facilities and removed all technical equipment used for maintaining the crops. The information released does not specify how long the plantations had been active or the potential quantity of drugs distributed prior to the intervention.
