This project, funded by the Corresponsables plan from the Government of Spain, seeks to guarantee the development, well-being, and emotional health of the municipality's minors with needs related to communication, behavior, or autonomy. Mayor Juan Antonio García Abreu highlighted that this is the first step towards establishing a local early intervention unit, following the presentation of the project and the allocation of land to the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo of Tenerife.
García Abreu added that the City Council continuously works to provide essential tools for families to feel supported. For her part, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Sonia Gutiérrez, detailed that the program has a multidisciplinary team covering areas such as speech therapy, psychology, and pedagogy, ensuring an accessible service with flexible hours and individualized attention.

The main objective of the project is to provide professional, close, and individualized support to minors with specific needs in their development, communication, emotional well-being, behavior, or autonomy, reaffirming the municipal commitment to the comprehensive care of citizens.
