The event was attended by authorities including the mayor Sandra Izquierdo, first deputy mayor Noemí García, second deputy mayor José Caro, regional deputy Nira Fierro, and the rector of the Cristo Sanctuary, Elisuán Delgado.
During the ceremony, the order of appearance for the candidates in the four queen election pageants was drawn: Children's Gala for the Election of the Princess 2026 (September 16), Fiesta del Arte. Gala for the Election of the Festival Queen (September 18), Gala for the Election of the Senior Queen (September 20), and Gala for the Election of the Harvest Queen (September 25).
This year's musical lineup features a headline performance by Marta Sánchez on the 26th. Other artists participating include Manu Tenorio, Victoria Escudero, Tonny Tun Tun, St. Pedro, and Francisco.
TVCanaria's Head of Meteorology, Vicky Palma, will deliver the opening address on Sunday the 13th. The group Los Cantadores will close the festivals on Sunday the 27th with a special concert alongside singer Pitingo.
