Both events, part of the municipality's Patron Saint Festivals program, transformed the avenue into a meeting point to enjoy sports in a participatory atmosphere. The XXII Urban Mile focused the day on athletics, offering an opportunity for people of all ages to share their passion for physical exercise, promoting values such as effort, perseverance, and personal improvement.
In parallel, the Sports Fair complemented the program, aiming to encourage participation and highlight the importance of an active lifestyle. The combination of both activities provided a day where sport was understood not only as competition but also as a tool for improving well-being and strengthening social relationships.
These initiatives contributed to promoting healthy habits and bringing physical activity closer to people with diverse interests and practice levels. Such gatherings foster citizen participation, enrich experiences around sports, and reinforce values like camaraderie and respect. Integrating sports into the patron saint festivals expands leisure options for families and friends, revitalizing public spaces.
The Santa Úrsula City Council thanked all participants and collaborators who made the XXII Urban Mile and the Sports Fair possible, reaffirming the municipality's commitment to physical activity, community, and well-being.
