The event, running from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, aims to bring sustainability into daily life through practical experiences, outreach, and citizen participation. The festival is open to residents, families, businesses, and visitors, featuring proposals focused on responsible consumption, circular economy, and environmental protection.
The program includes eco-workshops, practical demonstrations, discussion panels, and family activities linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Local gastronomy will also play a key role, connecting sustainability with the municipality's local products.
“"With this second edition, we want to continue bringing sustainability closer to citizens in a practical, participatory, and attractive way, highlighting the initiatives already being developed in Tacoronte."
A major highlight this year is the presentation of the Tacoronte More Sustainable 2026 Awards, which will recognize individuals, companies, educational centers, and groups across five categories: Sustainable Business, Territory and Local Product, Environmental Education and Awareness, Sustainable Community, and the Honorary Award.
The initiative, promoted by the Local Employment and Development Agency, is part of the Tacoronte More Sustainable municipal strategy, the town's roadmap towards 2030.
