The municipality of Arucas has announced the upcoming public tender for the renovation of the sports court located in the San Fernando neighborhood. The total investment will amount to 89,956 euros, fully funded by the local administration.
The project involves a comprehensive intervention in the facility. Improvements will focus on the playing area surface, lighting systems, and the sanitation network, aiming to modernize and optimize the space for sports practice.
The works are estimated to last 54 natural days once they commence. This action is part of the Barrios Plan and falls within the scope of sustainable municipal investments.
This initiative joins other sports infrastructure conditioning projects that the Arucas City Council has underway, such as the courts in San Andrés and Juan XXIII, and the Elías Rizkallal football field. These actions respond to citizen demands and the local policy of promoting sports and social cohesion.
