Guaguas Municipales will reinforce lines 25, 26, and 48 from June 2nd to 5th with an increase of 3,500 seats to facilitate access to the University Campus of Tafira during the ordinary call for the University Entrance Exam (PAU).

The municipal transport company plans to provide approximately 3,500 additional seats to the university area during the exam days. An attendance of around 2,200 students is estimated for the campus of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), so the reinforcement aims to meet the expected demand.
The service increase will focus on two key time slots: between 07:30 and 10:00 for arrivals at the campus, and between 18:00 and 20:00 for departures after the exams conclude.
Line 25, connecting the Auditorio with the Tafira Campus, will add two extra buses to the usual eight, offering an average frequency of 15 minutes. Line 26, from Santa Catalina via Siete Palmas, will incorporate two more vehicles to the seven normally operating, also maintaining a 15-minute frequency. Meanwhile, Line 48 (Escaleritas–University Campus) will increase its fleet by one bus, bringing it to four vehicles with an approximate frequency of 25 minutes.
Line 7 (Teatro–University Campus) will maintain its regular service. For the afternoon of Friday, June 5th, the Department of Education and Universities has scheduled an additional session at the La Granja building in San Cristóbal, accessible via lines 12 and 13.
Guaguas Municipales, in coordination with the City Council, recommends using public transport to avoid traffic and parking difficulties associated with the mass use of private vehicles, especially on days with high concentrations of people.
