Canaluz supports Firgong Club with sports equipment for San Juan Bautista Tournament
The electric company delivers bags, wristbands, and bottles to the Arucas table tennis club for the upcoming tournament.

Electric company Canaluz has delivered sports equipment to the Firgong Arucas Table Tennis Club, sponsoring the VII San Juan Bautista Tournament which will bring together athletes from all islands.
Canaluz, the electric company, has strengthened its support for the Firgong Arucas Table Tennis Club by donating sports equipment. The event took place at the sports facilities of the IES Domingo Rivero in Arucas, the club's usual training center.
The delivered material includes 50 Canaluz sports bags, over a hundred corporate wristbands, and several reusable recycled plastic bottles. These bottles are personalized with the slogan: «Canaluz, the Canary energy of our Table Tennis».
The president of the Firgong Club, Oliver Guerra Ossorio, and the Director of Communication and Marketing for Canaluz, Héctor Pérez Quevedo, highlighted the importance of promoting grassroots sports, coexistence, and healthy lifestyles through table tennis. Both entities praised the club's constant work with young people and adults in Arucas and the rest of the island.

The VII San Juan Bautista de Arucas Table Tennis Tournament will be held on June 13 and 14 at the José Juan Navarro Batista Olympic Pavilion in Arucas. The event will feature various categories, including senior men's and women's, under-11, under-17, amateur, and wheelchair, as well as invited clubs from other islands of the archipelago.
The organization promises "numerous surprises prepared with Canaluz" for participants, further consolidating the tournament as a significant event on the regional sports calendar. Registration remains open and information can be obtained through the Firgong Arucas Club.
