The play Claudette tells the story of an elderly woman who, on the verge of turning 90 years old, rebels against loneliness and routine. Accompanied by her playful grandson, she embarks on a tender, fun, and imaginative journey to feel alive again, proving that turning 90 years old deserves to be celebrated.
The stage production combines humor, emotion, and a luminous perspective on old age, the importance of companionship, and the desire to keep dreaming. Claudette has received the award for Best Performance from the Rest of the World at Umore Azoka 2024 and Best Performance at TAC Valladolid 2024.
The show will take place at the Plaza de Canarias (Rear of Parque Santa Catalina), a central venue in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria known for hosting various events and festivities. Performances are scheduled for Sunday, September 20th, with shows at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
