The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports of the Telde City Council, Cristhian Santana Caballero, congratulated the athlete, who belongs to the Punta Camello Civic Military Club, for this significant national achievement. The competition featured over 430 shooters in the short firearm category and was organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Olympic Shooting.
Practical shooting (IPSC) is a discipline that balances speed, power, and accuracy. Shooters move while engaging various targets, aiming to complete each course in the shortest possible time with the highest score. The Production division uses double-action, factory-standard firearms without modifications.
Cristhian Santana emphasized, "From the Telde City Council, we want to congratulate Rubén Amador for this important national success, which rewards his talent and capacity for self-improvement. Achievements like this help project a positive image of Telde and demonstrate the potential of our athletes in national competitions."
The Punta Camello club highlighted the athlete's dedication, stating, "This is a title that did not come by chance. Behind every result are many hours of preparation, discipline, and a will to improve." They added that Rubén Amador constantly trains to perfect movements, reloads, and displacements in this demanding discipline.
