The Club Natación Las Palmas has successfully defended its title as Spanish adapted swimming champion at the FEDDI 2026 Championship, held in Vitoria, solidifying its position as a national benchmark in the discipline.

The Club Natación Las Palmas has once again made history by claiming the title of Spanish FEDDI 2026 champion at the Spanish Championship of the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities, which took place in Vitoria. This achievement highlights the high competitive level, effort, and commitment of its adapted swimming team.
In addition to securing first place in the overall classification, the Gran Canaria entity achieved runner-up in the women's category and a commendable third place in the men's. These results consolidate Club Natación Las Palmas as one of the main national references in this sports discipline.

This new sporting success is a source of pride for the entire entity and recognizes the collective work carried out by both the athletes and the coaching staff and expedition leaders.

The delegation from Club Natación Las Palmas included athletes Adolfo De Castro Montero, Luis Soria Mena, Iván Pérez Álvarez, Adrián Santana Hernández, Ángel Vega Pinar, Pablo Cabrera Robaina, Isabel Morales Santana, Sergio Moreno García, Laura Pérez Suárez, Francisco Fernández Santana, María Rosa Pavia Sosa, Alejandro Montelongo Manrique De Lara, Patricia Fernández Santana, and Melania Casimiro Suárez. The team was led by coaches Paqui Romero Padrón and María Matos Quevedo, with the support of delegates Luis Gómez-Guillamon Arrabal and Raúl Soria Ranz.
