A woman and a puppet inhabit the urban space, recreating the symbolic gestures of other women who previously occupied it. United by threads, they begin a dance that is made and unmade, revealing how memory is woven in layers and how each gesture holds a story.
The piece reflects on the knots of memory: that which remains still, breathless, waiting to be untied to let go of the 'thread from my hand'. It is a poetic and physical work that turns public space into a territory of evocation and presence.
The event will take place in the Plaza de Canarias, located in the central area of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, between the El Muelle shopping center and Mesa y López avenue. This space has hosted various events and festivities.
Performances are scheduled for next Sunday, September 20th, with several sessions throughout the day, from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
