A joint operation by the National Police and the Local Police of Telde, conducted in the early hours of June 21, resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of narcotic and psychotropic substances at a property in the Montaña Las Huesas area. A large party was taking place there, allegedly without the necessary administrative authorizations.
The operation was initiated following neighborhood complaints about recurring parties at the location, as well as concerns about the potential presence of minors and the consumption of alcohol and drugs. The event, advertised as "Platatonic," gathered approximately 200 people.
The Drone Unit of the Local Police of Telde conducted prior aerial surveillance, confirming the high attendance and the existence of an organized infrastructure for the event, including access control and ticket sales.
During the inspection of the premises, officers found various narcotic and psychotropic substances hidden. Among the seized items were doses of suspected tussi, cocaine, hashish, cannabis pollen, marijuana, popper, methamphetamine, and several pills pending analysis, consistent with substances like ecstasy or amphetamines.
The event organizers were unable to provide the required documentation for the legality of the event, such as administrative authorizations, activity licenses, insurance policies, or security plans. Due to these irregularities, officers ordered the immediate cessation of the activity and the suspension of the event.
Judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated to clarify the facts and determine responsibilities. The investigation remains open, and the seized substances have been handed over to the competent authority.
