The Government of the Canary Islands has scheduled new traffic diversions in Arucas, Gran Canaria, from June 22 to 26, due to the final phase of asphalt paving works on the GC-20 ring road.

The Directorate General of Road Infrastructure of the Government of the Canary Islands will carry out the work to lay the final layer of the road surface during daylight hours, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
These actions will require temporary closures and the establishment of alternative routes in the section between kilometer markers 3+400 and 4+870 of the road.
On Monday, June 22, the entry and exit ramps between the Visvique and Santidad roundabouts will be closed. The following day, Tuesday the 23rd, disruptions will focus on the connecting ramps between both roundabouts and the access to Santidad from Cardones, which will be closed from 9:00 AM.
No work will be carried out on Wednesday, June 24, due to the San Juan holiday. On Thursday, June 25, work will be done on the Visvique roundabout, causing the temporary closure of all its access points. Alternative diversions have been designed via the GC-3, GC-43, and GC-303.
The works will conclude on Friday, June 26, with the paving of the ramps connecting to the GC-20 and the access to Arucas via the Santidad roundabout.
